Aspirations last team event involved a lesson in making cocktails, which we threw ourselves into with gusto especially the tasting bit.
The head barman took us through the process of making each cocktail: –
- Get clean equipment to make the cocktail with
- Get clean glasses to put the finished article into
- Get the correct ingredients in the correct quantities
- Follow the detailed instructions to combine the ingredients using the correct techniques.
- Enjoy the finished product.
The following day once the head had cleared a little our cocktail making experience made me think about my own business and those of our clients at Aspirations: –
Make sure you have the correct equipment needed to operate or produce what the business sells.
- Make sure your finished product or service represents the values of your business
- Ensure you have the right people doing the right things in your business
- Define all of your processes and systems in detail so your team know exactly what to do, how to do it and what is expected of them.
